„The Christmas as a Gospel Story” was a cultural and artistic project that toured the western part of Romania, in the counties of Timis, Hunedoara and Caras-Severin. 

The project was a collaboration with the „Sabin Pauta” Art High School in Resita, performing three gospel music concerts in the cities of Deva, Lugoj and Resita. Working with the students for several months, the American artist Dean Bowman taught the 45 high school students about gospel music, the songs, the history, the tradition of black American church music, and the importance of the music in the development of modern musical genres.

The Visions of Dreams Choir and The Canaan Land Band, both comprised of Bowman’s talented young gospel students, delighted audiences, and achieved the goal of our project, to broaden musical horizons by educating masses as well as students, promoting genres of music, and the promotion of young talents.
