“Visions of Dreams” School of Music is an informal music training center aimed at students, youth and young people with disabilities to develop their musical skills through the practice of voice and instruments, through learning vocal and instrumental techniques, American musical genres, the history of American music, culture, and values, while developing and learning English language skills.
The project coordinator is Dean Bowman, who is a major contributor to the 1990s New York City “downtown” jazz, rock, and avant-garde scenes. Bowman is an accomplished, „massively talented” vocalist and performance, recording artist, and a highly respected performer. He has a Bachelor of Arts(History) from Indiana University.
The program/project started in 2018 and runs for four years, including a series of activities that designed for the cultural exchange of Romanian and American culture.
